Video Announcement – Registration Now Open for Vermont’s Inaugural Kid Governor® Program

Vermont’s Kid Governor® is now accepting registrations for the 2025–2026 school year. This free civics education program gives 5th grade students the opportunity to run for office, vote in a real statewide election, and engage in hands-on democracy. Designed for Vermont classrooms, the program brings civic learning to life while helping students develop leadership, public speaking, and decision-making skills.

5th grade teachers can now register their classes to participate in this first-ever Vermont election, part of a national award-winning initiative. Don’t miss this opportunity to empower your students and help shape the next generation of civic leaders.
