Vermont’s Kid Governor is now accepting registrations for the 2025–2026 school year. This free civics education program gives 5th grade students the opportunity to run for office, vote in a real statewide election, and engage in hands-on democracy. Designed for Vermont classrooms, the program brings civic learning to life while helping students develop leadership, public speaking, and decision-making skills.
