Shires One-Minute Film Festival Presented by CAT-TV & GNAT-TV
What does home mean to you?
It could be a place, a person, a smell, a habit, whatever feels true to you. We’re inviting folks from across the region to submit tiny films (60 seconds or less) that tell personal, creative, or unexpected stories on the theme of “home.”
Anyone age 10 and up can submit. No experience needed. Use your phone, your own camera, or borrow equipment from CAT-TV or GNAT-TV.
Deadline to submit: October 25
Live screening + celebration: November 8 at the Bennington Theater
All filmmakers get free admission and will take part in audience voting.
Free Workshop: October 10, 4–5 PM at GNAT-TV
Want help getting started? We’re offering a free, one-hour workshop for ages 10 through adult that covers the basics of storytelling, filming, and editing.
→ RSVP by email: community@gnat-tv.org
Please include the number of attendees and ages of any kids.
If your film contains adult themes or content that may be inappropriate for younger audiences, please let the organizer know.
