In response to the progress of the COVID-19 epidemic, GNAT-TV is compiling a Response Plan that outlines how our staff and board will reduce transmission within our organization and the extent to which we will maintain regular business operations. Our first priority is for our staff and community to remain healthy. To this end, risk assessment, planning and communication are essential components of this plan.
Given our assessment of COVID-19 health risks and CDC recommendations for curbing the spread of the virus through social distancing, GNAT-TV is taking the following measures, effective Monday, March 16th.
GNAT-TV studio and office will be closed to the public, at least through Friday March 20th. All studio programs, training, internships and tours will be postponed until a later date.
We will use our discretion on the deployment of our field producers, as their well-being is our priority.
If you have any information that you would like us to share with the public, please email email@example.com
GNAT-TV staff will work remotely to continue to process public events and carry out administrative tasks. We will be actively monitoring email communications and will notify you of developments using email and social media channels. We will make every effort to continue continuity of service during this time.
Our aim is to keep our staff healthy, uphold our social responsibility, and to think proactively about how best to serve democratic functions during this uncertain time. We appreciate your continued support.
Our best wishes for your health and well being,
The GNAT-TV Team
