Don’t miss the 2024 premier of Crowdsourced Cinema: Home Alone!

  • Date: November 21, 2024
  • Time: Arrive by 5:45 PM, film starts at 6:00 PM
  • Location: Manchester Community Library

Join us for a special screening of Crowdsourced Cinema’s reimagined Home Alone!

Crowdsourced Cinema Vermont is a statewide collaborative filmmaking initiative, led by community media centers like GNAT-TV. Teams from across Vermont have crafted 1-3 minute scenes, with original music from local musicians completing the soundtrack. The film features a variety of styles, including live action, remix, puppetry, and other unique approaches, showcasing scenes and scores from GNAT-TV and other Vermont-based teams.

Tammie Reilly, GNAT-TV’s Executive Director, says, “Crowdsourced Cinema is a unique and creative project, and we’re thrilled to partner with the Manchester Community Library to bring this fun event to our community.”

Produced by The Media Factory out of Burlington, Vermont, Crowdsourced Cinema Vermont is part of a regional collaboration with Brookline Interactive Group and Northampton Open Media, the original creators of Crowdsourced Cinema. GNAT-TV and Vermont’s Community Media Centers leverage emerging technologies to promote free speech, civic engagement, and public discourse.

Seltzers and light snacks will be provided!
