Each month on the second Monday, volunteers come together at the Arlington Food Shelf to organize and distribute fresh produce provided by the Vermont Foodbank. The program helps ensure that local residents have access to healthy food, regardless of income or circumstance.

GNAT-TV spoke with Kate Bryan from the Battenkill Valley Health Center about the importance of food access in community health. A volunteer also shares her personal perspective on why showing up each month makes a difference.
