Cooking Show Camp!
Dates: June 30 – July 3 (9:00 am – 3:00 pm)
Ages: 8-13 years old
Heat up the summer at our Cooking Show Camp! If you’ve got a knack for cooking and a personality that belongs on screen, this camp is for you. Our high-tech kitchen studio offers the perfect stage to learn cooking and presentation skills. Campers will develop confidence on camera, experiment with new recipes, and produce their own cooking segments. Get ready to showcase your culinary creativity and charm your audience!
Scriptwriting & Storytelling Camp!
Dates: July 7-11 (9:00 am – 3:00 pm)
Ages: 8-13 years old
Calling all young storytellers! Unleash your creativity and bring your ideas to life at our Scriptwriting & Storytelling Camp. Campers will dive into the fundamentals of story structure, develop engaging characters, and craft their very own scripts. The fun doesn’t stop at writing—campers will swap scripts and step into the director’s chair to bring stories to life through short performances. Whether you dream of writing for the stage, screen, or simply love telling stories, this camp is the perfect place to explore your imagination in a fun, supportive environment.
Crowdsourced Cinema Camp!
Dates: July 14-18 (9:00 am – 3:00 pm)
Ages: 8-13 years old
Lights, camera, remake! At Crowdsourced Cinema Camp, campers will collaborate to recreate a famous film scene-by-scene. Guided by industry professionals, they’ll explore the art of directing, cinematography, and acting while putting their own creative spin on a well-known movie. From pre-production to filming and editing, this camp offers a hands-on filmmaking experience that brings classic films to life through fresh perspectives.
Science Show Camp!
Dates: July 21-25 (9:00 am – 3:00 pm)
Ages: 8-13 years old
Get ready to experiment, explore, and entertain at Science Show Camp! Campers will step into the spotlight as they create their very own science show—just like their favorite TV science hosts. They’ll work together to research exciting experiments, film themselves performing them, and explain the science behind each one. Whether it’s chemistry, physics, or biology, campers will bring their curiosity to life on camera and develop a passion for science and media production.
News Broadcasting & TV Studio Production!
Dates: August 4-8 (9:00 am – 3:00 pm)
Ages: 8-13 years old
Is your child a natural storyteller or curious about the fast-paced world of news broadcasting? At GNAT-TV’s News Broadcasting & TV Studio Production Camp, campers will step into the role of reporters, anchors, and producers to create their very own news show—airing on GNAT-TV!
Throughout the camp, kids will:
- Learn the art of news broadcasting, from writing scripts to delivering news on camera.
- Work as a team to film, edit, and produce a news segment covering fun local stories.
- Meet professionals in the news broadcasting field to get a behind-the-scenes look at media careers.
- See their final news show aired on GNAT-TV!
This hands-on camp is perfect for aspiring journalists, media makers, and storytellers who want to experience the excitement of a real TV studio.
Cooking Show Camp!

Media Maker Camp: Video Animation, Green Screen, & TV Production
Dates: August 18-22 (9:00 am – 3:00 pm)
Ages: 8-13 years old
This all-in-one media experience is perfect for kids who want to explore the world of video production, animation, and special effects! Campers will:
- Create digital animations and bring their artwork to life.
- Use green screen technology to transport themselves anywhere in the world.
- Learn TV production skills, from filming to editing, and produce their own creative projects.
