ARLINGTON –Along with hundreds of schools across the country, Fisher Elementary celebrated International Walk-to-School Day with a community trek to campus to raise awareness about the importance of physical activity and safe walking.
Fisher families, staff and teachers joined in the walk, including Fisher Principal Deanne Lacoste who was happy to participate.
“This is a popular annual event for Fisher families, and it’s a great way to start the day,” she said. “We had a beautiful morning walking and talking with our students outside of the classroom, which is always fun.”
