The News Project – Bennington Joins Opioid Lawsuit

The town of Bennington became the first in Vermont to join a lawsuit against several major pharmaceutical firms. The lawsuit alleges that the companies failed to make clear the potential risks that their products would be highly addictive and lead patients to become dependent upon them or other opioids.
