Pawlet Public Library Announces 53rd Annual Summer Book Sale
[Pawlet, July 1st] — The Pawlet Public Library is thrilled to invite the community to its 53rd Annual Summer Book Sale, a beloved local tradition featuring thousands of gently used books — all to benefit your local library!
The sale will take place on July 26th (9am-3pm) and July 27th (10am-2pm) at Route 153 Mettawee Community School in West Pawlet. Looking for your next great read? Don’t miss our huge book sale, featuring thousands and thousands of books—including vintage and rare finds! Whether you’re a collector, a casual reader, or just browsing, there’s something for everyone.
Highlights include:
– A wide selection of hardcovers, paperbacks, and children’s books
– A warm, welcoming space hosted by book-loving volunteers, library staff and board members
The Rare Room: Explore a curated collection of unique treasures, including an extensive selection of history and military books, plus beautifully framed prints salvaged from books that couldn’t be saved. This special space is a must-visit for collectors and curious minds alike.
All proceeds from the sale directly support the library’s mission to provide free access to books,
technology, and lifelong learning opportunities for everyone.
