Manchester Community Library Kicks Off Annual Summer Music Series on June 7
Manchester, VT — The music is back! Manchester Community Library is thrilled to announce the return of its annual Summer Music Series, a much-anticipated celebration of live music, local flavor, and community spirit. This free outdoor concert series, generously sponsored by Maple Capital Management, features performances by regional musicians and local food vendors on select Saturdays throughout the summer from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, right on the Library lawn.
The series kicks off on Saturday, June 7 with Sammy B, a Ludlow-based guitarist and singer-songwriter whose energetic, jam band style blends rock, blues, jazz, reggae, and country. Ghost Light Farm, a sustainable family farm from Cambridge, NY, will be on-site offering delicious food. Known for their eco-friendly practices — including up-cycling distillers grain as cattle feed — Ghost Light Farm brings a local, farm-fresh touch to the evening.
Concertgoers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, picnic blankets, and their dancing shoes. Leashed dogs are welcome, making this an event for the whole family.
“We’re so proud to host this series for a fourth year,” says Emily Bellows, Communications Coordinator at Manchester Community Library. “Each concert is a joyful gathering of neighbors and visitors, united by music and community.”
