(MANCHESTER, VT) Green Mountain Academy for Lifelong Learning (GMALL) welcomes economist Peter Radford to talk about globalization, which has become a hot topic in the past few years. The program will take place on Tuesday, May 13 from 5:30 to 7:00 pm at Southern Vermont Arts Center and online via live stream. What is globalization? And why do both far right and far left populist politicians hate it so much? Are international organizations all rigged against America? Can the recent history of trade relations be rebuilt using tariffs? Who benefits and who loses from global trade? Is bringing manufacturing home possible or even a good idea?
