Stockbridge, MA — Berkshire Art Center’s (BAC) Young Artist & Family Programs are back this fall with brand-new offerings and returning favorites designed to spark imagination, build confidence, and celebrate creativity! From toddlers discovering their first art tools to teens spinning clay on the wheel, there’s something for every young maker at Citizens’ Hall in Stockbridge.

Highlights of Fall 2025 Programs:

NEW! Mini Makers: Toddler & Caregiver Art Group
Saturdays, 9:30–10:30am | Starting October 4
Tiny hands, big creativity! Led by teaching artist Johanna Merfeld, this playful, multi-sensory class gives toddlers and their caregivers a joyful space to explore, connect, and make art together. Expect plenty of color, texture, and delightful mess-making!

Afterschool Art Club: Art on the Move
Fridays, 3:45–5:15pm | Starting October 10
Ready, set, ART! Blast off on a creative journey with teaching artist Kaily Ritz as we travel across land, sea, air, and even outer space—using art to fuel every adventure. Perfect for elementary-age artists, especially homeschoolers or anyone craving more creativity after school.

Wheel Throwing for Teens & Tweens
Fridays, 3:30–6:00pm | Starting October 10
Get your hands into the clay and your creativity spinning! Artist Katie Mitts returns to guide teens and tweens through the exciting world of wheel throwing. From beginners learning the basics to experienced students ready to tackle new techniques, this class is all about hands-on exploration and personal expression.

Celebrate Creatively with BAC Birthday Parties!

Is your child’s birthday coming up? We’ve got you covered!
Berkshire Art Center is turning birthdays into masterpieces with fun-filled art parties that kids (and parents!) can’t stop talking about.

Whether your budding artist loves colorful painting, expressive collages, creative ceramics, or wild mixed-media explorations, we’ll design a party as unique as your child. Each celebration is led by our talented teaching artists in our vibrant, funky studios — at the historic 1870 Citizens’ Hall in Stockbridge or our 1868 Brothership location in Pittsfield — where inspiration is in the air and creativity knows no bounds.

Families get to choose the theme, and we’ll take care of the rest — including a 1.5-hour art adventure where every guest creates a masterpiece to take home. Expect laughter, paint-splattered fun, and memories your child will treasure forever.

Ready to celebrate? Book your art party today at https://berkshireartcenter.org/art-parties and let the creativity begin!
