The Lion’s Club is sponsoring a viewing of the movie “Artist and the Astronaut” on
Sunday, October 19, 2025 at 1 PM.  Bill Muench, directed the movie and has offered to
bring it to the Mountain Towns Community at no charge.  The event is open to the public
but seating will is limited. Call Neighborhood Connections to reserve a seat at 802-824-

Directed by Bill Muench, a passionate teacher and coach, this film is a labor of love
born out of his wife’s encouragement. With no prior experience, plan, or budget,
Muench embarked on this six-year adventure, traveling across nine states and two
continents. His dedication brought him into conversation with Apollo astronauts, art
historians, NASA mission control directors, and more. Together with music icon Todd
Hobin, Muench has created an inspiring masterpiece that celebrates the strength of the
human spirit.
