Two new athletic fields for soccer and lacrosse were dedicated Saturday, sept. 3, at the Dana Thompson Rec Park in Manchester. The fields, which were paid for through privately raised donations that included $125,000 from local resident Derry Taylor and $75,000 in public money, had been under construction since last June.
