Request Local Event Coverage
GNAT-TV offers several ways to support your local event held in the Northshire or Mountain Towns regions of Vermont, including through broadcast, news coverage, and events announcements. Consider these available options, and fill out the Event Request Form at the bottom of this page to request coverage:
1. Equipment Rental for Filming
If you have a volunteer or staff member available to operate video and audio equipment, GNAT-TV can provide the necessary gear and training to support your filming needs. Our studio and kitchen set may also be available for use. To schedule training, please call 802-362-7070 or email production@gnat-tv.org.

2. Professional Production Services
GNAT-TV’s experienced staff producers and editors can handle all aspects of your event coverage for you. This includes filming, editing, and optional broadcast across GNAT-TV’s platforms. After you submit your event request form, our production team will review it and provide a detailed estimate of fees and services.

3. GNAT-TV Coverage and Broadcast
GNAT-TV may cover your event directly based on the following criteria:
- GNAT-TV staff and volunteer availability.
- The event is hosted by or benefits a local nonprofit community organization.
- The event offers educational, civic, informational, or local content.
- Your request is received at least two weeks prior to the event date.
- The host/sponsor agrees to publicly recognize GNAT-TV as a media partner.
- The event is free and open to the public.
- The host/sponsor intends to air the event on GNAT-TV channels.
- The host/sponsor is not planning to sell DVD copies of the event.
- The host/sponsor is willing to collaborate with GNAT-TV to ensure optimal audio and video quality.
Additional Ways GNAT-TV Can Support Your Local Event
- News Coverage: Email news@gnat-tv.org to share story ideas for possible inclusion in GNAT-TV news segments, or send a press release to be added to our local press releases page.
- Video Announcements & PSAs: Create a short video announcement or public service announcement promoting your event. We air Video Announcements on GNAT-TV, YouTube, and across our social media platforms.
- Events Calendar Submission: Submit your event to GNAT-TV’s community events calendar for visibility on our website, newsletter, and broadcasts.
- Distribution of Pre-Recorded Events: If you have filmed a community event or have produced your own content related to an event that meets our broadcast requirements, you can submit your content for distribution across GNAT-TV’s broadcast platforms, including cable television, YouTube, our website, and social media.
If none of the above options work, GNAT-TV may be able to assist in finding a volunteer. Please note that we cannot guarantee that volunteer productions will meet professional broadcast standards or be completed in a timely manner.
How Much Does GNAT-TV Event Coverage Cost?
Donations and production fees play a vital role in supporting GNAT-TV’s mission to provide quality local programming and community event coverage. Your support helps us maintain and upgrade our equipment, train volunteer producers, provide high-quality media education to youth and adults, and produce professional broadcasts to reach and inform our community.
If you are requesting professional production services, our Production Manager will be in touch with a quote after reviewing your Event Coverage Request.
We encourage you to consider making a donation, providing media or advertising sponsorship, or covering production fees when requesting event coverage. Your support ensures that GNAT-TV can continue broadcasting local stories and events to the community.

Please fill out the Event Request Form information as completely as possible and submit it at least two weeks before the event. We cannot consider requests received later.
You will see a Thank You page when the form is completed correctly. The Production Department will follow up with a phone call or email. Thank you.
