Danny Frank – Jim Kaat

Vermont resident Jim Kaat returns to ‘Danny Frank’ to discuss his latest book, Good As Gold: My Eight Decades in Baseball. Kaat’s illustrious career spans 25 years as a major league pitcher, culminating in his 2022 induction into the Hall of Fame. Starting his pitching career with the old Washington Senators, Kaat became a three-time All-Star and won the Golden Glove Award an impressive 16 consecutive times. In recognition of his achievements, the Minnesota Twins retired his #36 jersey in 2022. Beyond the field, Kaat has also made his mark as a sportscaster, earning seven Emmy Awards.
