Community Tree Lighting Celebration Set
MANCHESTER — The town’s annual Manchester Merriment celebration kicks off this year on Saturday, November 25 with the Community Tree Lighting Celebration. Held on the Factory Point Town Green, the evening ushers in the season with plenty of holiday spirit. Beginning at 6pm, all are invited to attend the event featuring seasonal music, caroling, holiday treats, and a visit from Santa Claus himself. The night culminates with the tree lighting ceremony when Northshire Special Olympics will ‘flip-the-switch’ and illuminate the park as the official start to the holidays.
The Community Tree Lighting Celebration is the first event in this year’s series of Manchester Merriment activities. Other events include the Lighted Tractor Parade on December 2, Holiday Historic Inn Tours on December 2 and 9, and the Manchester Lions Elf Express Train December 16 and 17.
