ARLINGTON, VT — Get ready to see top-tier local talent right in your backyard! Arlington Common Community Theater is thrilled to announce its upcoming performance of Noël Coward’s classic smash-hit comedy, Blithe Spirit. Directed by local theater enthusiast Tim Rice, this production showcases the rich acting talent in our community while introducing audiences to exciting new faces on stage. The production opens on Friday, October 16th, at The Arlington Common.

Blithe Spirit offers fast-paced, laugh-out-loud theater driven entirely by captivating, character-focused performances. The story follows novelist Charles Condomine, who invites the eccentric medium Madame Arcati into his home for a séance, inadvertently summoning the ghost of his mischievous first wife, Elvira. Sparks and hilarity fly as Elvira wreaks haunting havoc on Charles and his current wife, Ruth.  

This revival puts the spotlight squarely on the performers, bringing together a dynamic mix of talented actors from Arlington and our neighboring towns. Audience members will enjoy seeing local favorites step into fresh roles alongside a lineup of brand-new local talent making their debut on the Arlington stage.
