Sunderland, VT – April 3, 2026 – GNAT-TV welcomed community members to its studio on April 2 for a combined Community Open House and Annual Meeting, offering an evening of connection and a closer look at how local media is created and shared across the region.

The evening included a brief annual meeting where GNAT-TV shared how the organization is actively expanding what community media can be. Updates highlighted the return of Dinner Party as a live, in-studio experience, growing regional collaborations such as the One-Minute Film Festival with CAT-TV, and continued investment in media education and digital distribution. The organization also shared recent technical advancements, including broadcasting all Comcast cable channels in HD and expanding access with an additional education channel serving local mountain communities. Together, these efforts signal a shift toward more accessible, collaborative, and community-driven media across the region.

“Community media only works when the community is part of it,” said Tammie Reilly, Executive Director of GNAT-TV. “This, and all of our events, are about opening the doors, sharing what we do, and making space for people to see themselves in that work.”

At the annual meeting, GNAT-TV also elected two new members to its Board of Trustees: Ali Ellwell Zaiac of Arlington and Tom Dunigan of Manchester Center. Both bring a strong commitment to community engagement and will help guide the organization as it continues to grow its reach and impact across Southern Vermont.

Throughout the evening, the focus remained on participation, how community members can contribute ideas, share stories, and use GNAT-TV as a platform for local voices. Conversations reinforced the importance of independent, accessible media and the role community members play in shaping what comes next.

“GNAT-TV’s strength comes from a board and a community that believe in the power of local voices,” said Board Chair Stu Osnow of Londonderry. “We invite everyone to take part in shaping the future of this organization, whether by sharing ideas, creating content, or simply joining the conversation.”

GNAT-TV extends its thanks to everyone who attended and contributed to the evening. As the organization looks ahead, it remains committed to building a community-driven media platform that reflects and serves the people of the region.
