Benjamin Lerner Celebrates 10 years Sober With CLEAN Jam 2026: A LIVE 24 Hour Radiothon and Social Media Broadcast
For over half a century, comedian Jerry Lewis demonstrated the power of media-driven philanthropy through his annual Labor Day telethon, raising hundreds of millions of dollars for a serious cause: the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Year after year, it proved to be a powerful blend of entertainment, storytelling, and collective purpose.
Inspired by that model, on June 13, Benjamin Lerner will host a 24-hour live broadcast marathon, Benjamin Lerner’s CLEAN Jam, airing from WEQX 102.7 FM in Manchester, Vermont, with a simultaneous Facebook livestream produced by Old Mill Road Recording. The event celebrates the 10-year sobriety anniversary of the Vermont-based musician, journalist, viral content creator, and radio host. The program will be continuous from 3PM on June 13th until 3PM on June 14th.
Benjamin Lerner’s CLEAN Jam will raise funds and awareness for two non-profit organizations central to Benjamin’s journey: The Wilson House and 1761 Arts.
The Wilson House is the birthplace and childhood home of Bill W., co-founder of Alcoholics Anonymous and author of the Twelve Steps. It is a not-for-profit gathering place in Southern Vermont for people in recovery to learn, grow, and deepen their connections with each other and their spiritual lives.
1761 Arts, a Vermont nonprofit dedicated to artist residencies and creative development, helped shape Benjamin’s path in recovery by allowing him to discover that expression and creativity were the drugs he was searching for all along.
At its core, Benjamin Lerner’s CLEAN Jam is a 24-hour radio marathon, but the broadcast will also be streamed live across Facebook, allowing a global audience to tune in, engage, and contribute in real-time. Listeners and viewers will experience a dynamic mix of music; live performances; conversations with celebrities, community leaders, and individuals directly impacted by addiction; listener call-ins; audience-requested song dedications; local business giveaways; and interactive segments, creating a highly engaging, accessible, multi-platform experience.
For Benjamin, the event is as much about remembrance as it is about celebration.
“I’ve lost dozens of friends to the opioid epidemic–and, in all honesty, I should be dead myself,” shares Benjamin, a former IV fentanyl, heroin, and crack cocaine addict. “Instead, I am living in long-term recovery with a profound sense of gratitude—not only for my sobriety, but for the opportunity to still be alive. This broadcast is a way of celebrating life, recovery, and the power of community—by showing up fully, minute by minute, hour by hour, for 24 consecutive hours. It’s my 10-year sobriety anniversary, and I don’t want to waste a minute of it.”
More than an event, Benjamin Lerner’s CLEAN Jam is a living testament to resilience, an invitation for audiences everywhere to be part of something meaningful, and an opportunity to raise awareness and donations for two worthy causes.
Join Benjamin Lerner’s CLEAN Jam anytime beginning at 3PM on Saturday, June 13 and continuing continuously until 3PM on Sunday, June 14, 2026. The program will be available on WEQX 102.7FM and on the official Benjamin Lerner Facebook Page (A LIVE Link will be posted on the home page of BenjaminLerner.com on June 13, 2026.)
All proceeds will benefit The Wilson House and 1761 Arts.

About Benjamin Lerner
The Great-grandson of Irving Berlin (composer of such iconic tunes as “God Bless America” and “White Christmas”), Benjamin Lerner is a Vermont-based Rapper, Composer, Writer, Recovery Advocate, Radio Host, and Viral Content Creator with over 500,000 followers across social media platforms and over 500 million total video views on his recovery content.
Benjamin started his musical career as a classical piano prodigy. By his early twenties, he was an IV fentanyl, heroin, and crack cocaine addict. Now sober since June 13, 2016, he journals his journey in addiction and sobriety in his signature piano-raps, which combine classical piano and Hip-Hop elements. Benjamin credits his continued success in recovery to his ability to express his emotions through word and song.
Benjamin has had the pleasure of performing for the National Academy of Medicine, The Aspen Institute, Barrington Stage Company, and at Carnegie Hall as part of the Indie Collaborative.
His debut album, CLEAN, was released in February 2020 and produced by Old Mill Road Recording. Since then, he has released several singles and 2 EPs, KEEP MOVING FORWARD (2024) and RUN TOWARDS THE TRUTH (2025), all produced at Old Mill Road. The third EP in the trilogy, DON’T QUIT BEFORE THE MIRACLE HAPPENS, is in the works, as is his second full length studio album. The inspiration behind the EP names is rooted in the sign-off from Benjamin’s CLEAN Column, a serialized, autobiographical recovery column that ran in the Vermont News Guide from January 2020 through January 2025:
“Keep moving forward.
Run towards the truth.
Don’t quit before the miracle happens.”
Benjamin is the host of the weekly recovery rap radio show, CLEAN Jams, on the legendary Vermont alternative radio station, 102.7 WEQX, and is a proud voting member of the Recording Academy. BenjaminLerner.com
