[00:00:21] Sandgate, and Sunderland.
[00:00:22] I am Rob Hunter.
[00:00:24] I am your state representative, and I
[00:00:26] am running for re -election.
[00:00:28] First, let me tell you what I believe in.
[00:00:32] Having been a teacher and a coach here for almost 30 years,
[00:00:36] raising a family here and now being retired,
[00:00:39] I believe in keeping Vermont affordable for Vermonters.
[00:00:44] I believe in providing an excellent education
[00:00:47] to all our Vermont students.
[00:00:50] I believe in figuring out how to make health care
[00:00:52] affordable and accessible to all.
[00:00:56] And I support innovative ways to create affordable housing.
[00:01:01] I believe in fiscal responsibility and
[00:01:04] universal pre -K.
[00:01:06] I believe the future starts with our kids.
[00:01:11] I believe we need to attract families to Vermont.
[00:01:14] That means creating opportunities, creating jobs,
[00:01:18] and know this about me.
[00:01:21] I do not see these as democratic or Republican issues.
[00:01:26] These are Vermont issues.
[00:01:29] And one last thing.
[00:01:32] I also believe in leadership.
[00:01:34] Leadership means doing the right thing for those you serve.
[00:01:39] Political leadership must respond to the needs
[00:01:42] of the citizens.
[00:01:44] For example, if Vermonters are crying out for affordability,
[00:01:48] then our elected officials need to respond to that.
[00:01:52] I will respond for all of us.
[00:01:56] And from my heart,
[00:01:58] I truly appreciate all of the conversations
[00:02:01] I have with my friends and constituents.
[00:02:04] Whether it's a Saturday morning at the transfer station,
[00:02:07] at the Manchester gym, between sets, over produce,
[00:02:11] at Price Chopper, or
[00:02:12] Shaws, at a street fest,
[00:02:15] at one of the coffee hours.
[00:02:16] Thank you.
[00:02:18] You continue to show me that I'm doing the right thing
[00:02:20] in Montpelier.
[00:02:22] I appreciate your support, and I will
[00:02:24] be looking for your vote in November.
