Small-scale infill housing for the “missing middle” of the state’s housing market is one approach to creating more affordable housing. A meeting in Rutland brought together finance experts, builders, and community leaders, equipped with a new “toolkit” from the Dept. of Housing and Community Development. Together, they sought solutions for the housing challenges in Bennington and Rutland counties.
