Manchester Historical Society Celebrates Rockwell Print Donation

Join the Comar family for an evening of stories and reminiscing about Manchester’s beloved Quality Restaurant on Wed., Feb. 11 at 6 pm at the Manchester Community Library. Wendy Comar will present her print of the unpublished Norman Rockwell painting entitled “War News” to the Manchester Historical Society which will hang in the Library Commons.

This will be followed by a discussion with members of the Comar family moderated by MHS board member Mike Powers. Come and get a first look at this historic picture and hear stories of Manchester in the mid 20th century. Light refreshments will follow. The evening promises to be a warm and celebratory community event, jointly hosted by MHS and MCL.
