Northshire Bookstore Event: Local Author Spotlight
(Manchester Center, VT) On Saturday, January 17 from 2-4 pm, three local authors will join us to sign copies of their latest books. The attending authors are:
Jill Coupe – Gemma Sommerset

Simon Shadows – Overwhelm

Gregory Vail – The Soft Mud of France
The Soft Mud of France is the life story of World War I fighter pilot, Lt. William H. Vail, 95th Aero Squadron, France, 1918, his saving of another pilot’s life, for which he was awarded the Purple Heart, Distinguished Service Cross, Silver Star, and recommended for the Medal of Honor–that nomination lost 107 years ago, an injustice which his son–the author–is seeking to redress today
