Bennington County Indivisible Announces No Kings III March and Rally to Advocate for Keeping Our Democracy – With Congresswoman Becca Balint as Special Guest Speaker

Community members and activists will gather on March 28 th 2026 at 133 River Street,
Bennington Vermont for a peaceful march and rally to stand against the current
administration’s authoritarianism and to stand for Democracy and the Rule of Law
enshrined in our constitution. 
Bennington, Vermont — March 23, 2026— Bennington County Indivisible is proud to
announce the upcoming No Kings III March and Rally, a community-driven event
advocating for equality rights and protection for all, safety for our immigrant neighbors,
due process, and an end to war among other issues. The event will take place on March
28, 2026 at 12:00pm, starting at 133 River Street, Bennington and concluding with a
rally of speakers and music at the Bennington State Office Complex, 200 Veterans
Memorial Drive, Bennington.

U. S. Representative – Becca Balint
Rep. Becca Balint is a mom, teacher, and progressive leader who comes to Washington ready to fight for working
families. Becca is the first woman and openly LGBTQI+ person to represent Vermont in Congress. She is Vice Ranking Member of the House Judiciary Committee
and a member of the Budget Committee, serves as a Co-Chair of the Congressional Equality Caucus and is a
member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus. A deep sense of justice, empathy, and service has guided Becca’s
career from the beginning – first as an educator who taught middle school, then as an activist and State Senator, Majority Leader, and ultimately as
the President Pro Tempore in 2021. As a leader in the State Senate, Becca led the passage of the first gun safety laws in the state’s history and worked to enshrine
abortion rights in the state’s constitution. She is married to her wife Elizabeth for 20 years, and together they have two teenagers. Becca lives with her family in Brattleboro, Vermont.
The rally following the march will feature speakers including State Representative
Kathleen James, Jack Rossiter-Munley from the BC Multicultural Center, Mia Schultz
from NAACP, and others. Entertainment from We the People Protest Band and the
Roadside Blues Band. Food vendors will be at the rally site. Come join this
peaceful protest, bring friends, signs, and banners. Let us march together in support of
Democracy.
