Vehicle Registration Deadline: November 15, 2026

October 2026 — Stockbridge, MA — The Stockbridge Chamber of Commerce is inviting antique automobile owners to participate in the 37th Annual Stockbridge Main Street at Christmas, December 5–6, 2026. Registered vehicles will be part of Sunday’s live recreation of Norman Rockwell’s iconic holiday painting, bringing the beloved scene to life along Stockbridge’s historic Main Street.

Each December, Stockbridge transforms into a quintessential New England holiday village, complete with festive wreaths, lights, and historic charm. The weekend features historic property tours, a holiday concert, and the much-anticipated Main Street reenactment, which draws visitors and automobile enthusiasts from near and far.

ANTIQUE CARS OF ALL YEARS ARE WELCOME!

The Chamber is seeking up to 55 vehicles to help recreate Rockwell’s famous winter scene on Sunday, December 6. Vehicles from the late 1940s and early 1950s are especially encouraged for placement along the Red Lion Inn side of Main Street to reflect the automobiles featured in the original painting. Other registered vehicles will be directed to designated parking locations.

This is a special opportunity for car owners to showcase their vehicles, connect with fellow enthusiasts, and become part of one of Stockbridge’s most cherished holiday traditions.

EVENT DETAILS

Date: Sunday, December 6, 2026
Location: Main Street, Stockbridge, Massachusetts
Reenactment: Noon–2:00 p.m.
Vehicle Arrival: 10:00–11:00 a.m.

Main Street will be closed to through traffic during the reenactment, creating a pedestrian-friendly event. Vehicles must remain in place until the road reopens, approximately 5–10 minutes after 2:00 p.m. Early departures are not permitted.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Pre-registration is required by November 15, 2026. Participation is limited to 55 vehicles. Late registrations may be considered; however, owners must receive confirmation from the Chamber before arriving. Please do not arrive without confirmation.

To register, contact the Stockbridge Chamber of Commerce by phone or email and provide the following information:

• Owner’s name
• City and state
• Vehicle year, make, model, and color
• Email address

Registered participants should arrive between 10:00 and 11:00 a.m. No early arrivals or parking before 10:00 a.m., please. Check-in opens at 10:15 a.m. and closes promptly at noon. The check-in station will be on Main Street near Beacon Bank, formerly Berkshire Bank. Police will direct vehicles as needed.

The first 55 confirmed participants will receive one commemorative dash plaque and one event admission button. Additional guests may purchase admission for $5 per person. Dash plaques will not be mailed to participants who do not attend. Due to limited space, trailers are not permitted.
