Lantern Walk
As the days grow darker, let’s bring a little light and warmth into the world.
On Wednesday, November 11, we’d love to invite you to celebrate Martin’s Day with us!
At dusk, we’ll gather and set off together, creating a glowing river of lanterns winding through the evening. Big and small, young and old, we’ll walk side by side, sharing light, kindness, and the warmth of community.
Martin’s Day is a beloved European tradition that I’m so happy to bring here from my home in Germany. The more lanterns, the merrier! After our walk, we’ll gather around a fire to enjoy stick bread, warm drinks, and songs together.
If you’d like to make your own lantern, join us for a lantern-making workshop on Sunday, November 8. The workshop is optional, and everyone is welcome to join the walk, with or without a lantern.
