Lace up your boots and grab your binoculars! Join Green Mountain Academy and local bird enthusiasts on a guided bird walk on the D&H Rail Trail in Rupert. The rail trail is a flat gravel path that runs along fields, wetlands, and through forests, and hosts a diversity of bird species as a result. With this walk being held during autumn migration, we will hope to find migrating songbirds, waterfowl, and raptors, among others. We recommend participants wear sturdy walking shoes and dress for the weather, as this event will be held rain or shine. Please bring your own binoculars. Registration is $20 per person.
