Join Green Mountain Academy and local bird enthusiasts on a guided bird walk along the Otter Creek in Mt. Tabor. We will be walking along uneven terrain (mowed paths and train tracks) along fields, wetlands, and forests. Given the habitat diversity, over 120 species of birds have been reported here. With this walk being held during fall migration, we will hope to find migrating songbirds, waterfowl, and raptors, among others! We recommend participants wear sturdy walking shoes/boots and dress for the weather, as this event will be held rain or shine. Bring your own binoculars. Registration is $20 per person.
