The Arlington Common Community Theater invites neighbors of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels to join this year’s holiday production, Christmas Cabaret 2026: The Sequel!

Whether you’re a seasoned performer or stepping onto the stage for the very first time, there is a place for you in our holiday family. We’re seeking actors, singers, dancers, comedians, musicians, and performance artists for solo acts, skits, and energetic group numbers. Performers of all ages and abilities are invited to audition.

Directed by Leif Erickson, with musical direction and accompaniment by Michael Garvey, production assistance and choral direction by Julie Freebern, and hosted by Master of Ceremonies Tim Rice, this year’s cabaret celebrates the incredible talent, warmth, and creativity in our community.

Audition Details:

Dates: Monday, October 19 & Tuesday, October 20

Time: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Location: Arlington Common Performance Hall, 3938 Rt. 7A, Arlington, VT 05250

Preparation: Soloists are asked to prepare 16 bars of music (uptempo or ballad), such as a favorite Christmas carol. Familiar sheet music will also be available on-site.

Rehearsal & Performance Schedule: To keep scheduling flexible for busy holiday calendars, individual acts will rehearse separately leading up to tech week. All cast members will come together for full-show evening rehearsals starting the week of December 7.
