There are over 2,000 public, educational, and governmental (PEG) access channels in the United States producing over a million hours of local programming per year!

We provide free equipment, including camcorders and editors; free use of our multi-camera studio which also contains a state-of-the-art kitchen; free cablecasting time; free pages on our electronic bulletin board; free access to satellite programming including Classic Arts Showcase, NASA-TV, Free Speech TV, and university programming; free use of our digital still camera; AND free workshops to teach you how to use all this stuff

GNAT-TV is part of the Vermont Access Network, a non-profit corporation established to promote PEG Access Centers in the State of Vermont. It is the mission of the Vermont Access Network to further the goals of Vermont's PEG organizations and to foster free speech, interconnectivity and community discourse through the use of current and future communications technologies.
