“At Red Fox, we believe games are a gateway to discovery and connection,” said Head of School Karen O’Neill Thomson. “Through this drive, we’re extending our commitment to learning through play beyond our classroom walls and into the homes of families throughout our community.”
“Games are fun to play with your family, and they can help you learn,” adds one Red Fox student, highlighting how board games and puzzles not only create cherished family moments but also support educational development.
The initiative reflects Red Fox’s core educational philosophy that play is essential to childhood development. Donations of board games, card games, puzzles, and gift cards will help ensure local families can enjoy meaningful time together this winter and beyond.
“It’s important to share the joy of playing games,” shares another young Red Fox Community School student, reminding us that play is a universal language that connects us all.
One student shared their holiday wish: “I hope every child can have a gift to open over the holidays” – a simple yet powerful statement about inclusion during a season when no child should feel forgotten.
