GMALL – What The Constitution Means To Me
MANCHESTER, VT — Green Mountain Academy for Lifelong Learning is excited to partner with The Dorset Players to present this performance of “What the Constitution Means to Me”. The presentation will take place on Saturday, January 17, from 2 to 4 pm at the Bennington County Courthouse in Manchester Village.
Playwright Heidi Schreck’s boundary-breaking play breathes new life into our Constitution and imagines how it will shape the next generation of Americans. Fifteen-year-old Heidi earned her college tuition by winning Constitutional debate competitions across the United States. In this hilarious, hopeful and achingly human new play, she resurrects her teenage self in order to trace the profound relationship between four generations of women and the founding document that shaped their lives. Directed by Dana Haley.
A talkback with the director and cast—including Elisabeth Hazelton and David McAneny—will follow the performance.
Tickets are $20 per person. For more information or to register, please call our office at 802-867-0111 or visit greenmtnacademy.org.
