SUMMARY:President Lincoln's National Funeral Train Procession
DESCRIPTION:Timothy Tilghman will host a PowerPoint presentation at the Man
chester Community Library discussing the Lincoln Presidency and those indi
viduals he came into contact during his Administration\, the Lincoln Funer
al Train Procession of April 1865\, and Robert Todd Lincoln’s Federal ca
 reer on Thursday\, November 12\, 2026.\n \nLearn about Abraham Lincoln’s
term in the White House and his legacy as President. Lincoln interacted w
ith a revolving door of fascinating individuals during his truncated Presi
dency. Lincoln was determined to preserve the Union and reconcile the nati
on’s wounds\, but did not survive to fulfill his post-Civil War vision.
The Nation collectively mourned the loss of President Lincoln as crowds tu
rned out for the Funeral Train Procession to pay their respects.\n \nTimot
hy Tilghman began lecturing in October 2011\, and enjoys traveling across
the USA lecturing outside Maryland. Timothy earned his Master’s Degree f
rom the University of Baltimore in December 2002. Delivering PowerPoint pr
esentations is an ideal way to showcase history in an educational and ente
 rtaining format.\n\nLink: https://mclvt.org/event-views/
